A variant study was first carried out for the outdated wastewater treatment plant at the Sonnenstein inn. The results were then used to plan a plant-based purification plant. The wastewater is fed through a mechanical pre-treatment system and a grease separator via the feed shaft into the filter basin, where it is cleaned by the microorganisms in the soil filter. The treated wastewater is then infiltrated via a trough infiltration system.
